— THE NEW MILAN-BASED FESTIVAL
#C2CMLN, the much-awaited springtime Club To Club event, is back.
For the third consecutive year the International Festival of Avant-Pop will be in Milan, on the occasion of art fair mi art and a few days before Design Week, for the first in a series of satellite events, during which the theme of Club To Club’s 17th Turinese edition will be unveiled.
#C2CMLN will be the first Club To Club event in 2017, and it will take place on Thursday 30th March in an exceptional location: Gucci Hub, the new Gucci headquarters, will be open to the public for the first time on this occasion.
The artists featured in the lineup are among the key acts in the contemporary electronic scene: Venezuelan musician, producer and singer Arca, who worked with the likes of Kanye West, Björk and FKA twigs, and recently announced his new self-titled album for XL Recordings, together with Jesse Kanda‘s surreal visuals in their exclusive Italian date; Young Turks duo Amnesia Scanner and their captivating as much as futuristic sound; British talent Gaika and his hyperurban, dancehall-tinged grime; post-genre collective Staycore’s mainstay Toxe and her enthralling selection; Yves Tumor, one of the most atypical artists of his generation.
The 2016 edition of #C2CMLN has taken place from 7th to 9th April in the same days as art fair mi art. #C2CMLN represented a comeback to the original Club To Club spirit of the early noughties: three days of non-stop events through different locations, with artists such as Animal Collective, among the most explosive experiences in today’s music, as well as Arca.
