THE ITALIAN NEW WAVE is a format by Club To Club Festival that promotes the new Italian music creativity worldwide with showcases and focused initiatives.

ITNW features a diverse and carefully selected roster of artists who, with their unique and innovative production, fit perfectly the attitude and style of Club To Club, representing an ideal showcase.
The roster is enriched with exclusive productions commissioned by ITNW, focusing on original collaborations between artists, and encouraging experimentation among the protagonists of the scene thus amplifying its resonance. The promotion of the project benefits from the renewed emphasis on the new and vibrant Italian scene by national media, who follow its developments with increasing interest, as well as foreign ones, that are constantly looking for trends and current phenomena born in traditionally non-core countries for the global music market.

Since 2012 the showcases of The Italian New Wave, co-oganized with istitutions as Barbican Centre (UK), Unsound Festival (PL), Romaeuropa Festival, Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI, Castello di Rivoli, Reggia di Venaria, Transart Festival and Red Bull Music Academy, they have touched New York, London, Milan, Rome e Turin presenting shows  by the most original musicians and visual artists in the new italian scene, amplifying their visability on the international market.

In 2015 the prestigious British newspaper The Guardian has dedicated the opening of the music section of his Guide to a focus on ITNW and its protagonists, investigating their role within the national scene.

The Italian New Wave is also a compilation created by Club To Club in partnership with Bleep, the most imporant boutique store online for independent music, featuring tracks from TINW artists and sold at the special price of 2 euros.

 In 2015 a dedicated show was aired twice weekly on NTS Radio, the most important online-only radio in the world, aired from the Club To Club headquarters during the Festival in Turin. Artists’ own material, inspirations and obscure tracks: 100% Italian music.

In July 2016 ITNW has held its first festival, The Italian New Wave Annual Summit, at former royal residence and UNESCO site Palace of Venaria.

In October 2016, ITNW presented a Boiler Room featuring four of its most important artists, such as Not Waving, Ninos du Brazil, Dave Saved and Petit Singe.
In 2017 ITNW has curated the Lorenzo Senni’s Italian tour promoting the artist’s first release on Warp Records. The Italian New Wave has presented the Second Annual Summit in Turin: 2nd edition of the first festival entirely dedicated to ITNW at the Palace of Venaria Reale. ITNW has launched together with Italian knitwear brand Vitelli a limited edition tee, which has been presented at the Second Annual Summit and featured in High snobiety as well as i-D.
In 2018 ITNW teams up with Apulian Festival VIVA! to bring a selection of the most interesting Italian acts to the German capital.
In the upcoming summer ITNW will announce the Annual Summit’ third edition.
