C2C FESTIVAL
— One of the most appreciated avant—pop music festivals in Europe
C2C was born in 2002 as Club To Club Festival, in Turin. During its nineteen editions, C2C committed to a representation as complete as possible of contemporary artistic scene’s most surprising evolutions. It is today the most durable Italian festival committed to new sounds, mostly thanks to the artistic direction’s brave and coherent choices, balanced between avantgarde and new pop and able to present innovative formats and exclusive shows.
The main festival’s challenge is to represent names that aims to experiment new and unusual languages in their shows, while enhancing their value in the context: that’s why C2C can count many site—specific projects that build a bridge between the performance itself and the venue where it is located. It’s avant—pop, a key word for C2C that combines its two souls: avantgarde, innovation and pop. Concepts that may appear very different and contradictory between them, but that actually hide a deep connection and dialogue.
